The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN is a spectacular relay race that starts at Kapiolani Park, goes up Diamond Head Road and back. The main event is the 5 men EKIDEN relay. Each team member runs the same lap. One lap is 5km (about 3.1 miles). Each runner will carry a team "sash" and hand it over to the next team member waiting for his/her turn. New this year is the EKIDEN lite, whereby a maximum of 3 runners per team run the course as a relay.

We also accept individual entries and assign you to a team. Moreover, we offer a casual run/walk category and a 1 mile kids challenge (both these races are not timed).
